YES!  That's RIGHT!!!!! The Sisterhood of the Traveling Broom will participate in aaduna’s 2019 Halloween Gala Event! (aaduna's annual fundraiser) as we celebrate the 100^th anniversary of the Harlem Renaissance and our fifth year of fundraisers where we promote words and the creative talent of individuals who routinely produce poetry, novels, lyrics and diverse, intriguing words that fuel our imagination and enriche our spirit.

Join aaduna and the Sisterhood of the Traveling Broom as we will bring closure to the theme that has guided previous fundraisers as we start a new journey to explore other celebratory and festive aspects of the African Diaspora and its influences on worldwide cultures.

Poets, writers, musicians, performers, art exhibits, creative items to purchase and most importantly, YOU in costume!!!

Get your courtesy advanced ticket ($20/person) by July 31st and save $5 on the regular ticket price of $25/person, and a $10 savings if you wait to TRY to get a ticket at the door (when it will be cash only.)

 aaduna, 144 Genesee Street, Suite 102-259, Auburn, NY 13021 and clearly indicate your return mailing address. – Tickets will be mailed after August 8^th.

 This is a special “thank you for your past support” rate available to everyone.

Our goal? Sell out the event by Labor Day.  If you know aaduna, you know that what we put our minds to, we are able to manifest those thoughts!

We will periodically announce other October 31, 2019 participants, as well as the featured poets and writers who are central to the event throughout June.

Carriage House Theater, behind the Cayuga Museum of History and Art in Auburn, NY on October 31^st starting at 6 PM.

 Oh what a night it will be!!!

PS We will continue the gala festivities at Auburn's Equal Rights Heritage Center at its November 1, 2019 First Friday event where we will kick-off aaduna's exploration of the Jazz Age!
