DeJuan Antonio Clark, Sr. better known to his legion of literary fans and readers as ‘Persecution Avenue’ passed away on December 14, 2016 from pneumonia while quietly, privately, and courageously battling a terminal illness. A 2016 Pushcart Prize nominee for fiction, in his remembrance and honor, I invite you to read my “conversation” with him available at
In addition, we plan to dedicate the forthcoming aaduna issue in his name. If you knew him, enjoyed his writings, or want to express sentiments, please send those thoughts to me via firstname.lastname@example.org (subject line: P Ave) no later than Sunday, December 18, 2016. Depending on space and any editing, I may include your remembrances in my Publisher’s Message.
Thanks. Be safe. AND Hold close to your heart those folks who are significant to you.
