Waterloo, NY Event Postponed.

DUE TO EXTREME HEAT, MICHAEL CZARNECKI’S PERFORMANCE IN FATZINGER HALL FOR WED, JULY 20 TH IS POSTPONED. A  new date will be posted as soon as it is known.   T he upper Hall in the complex has no A/C and weather forecasters predict possible record high temps and humidity for this Wednesday. Stay cool.    

Summer Arts Event in Waterloo, NY

This event is part of The Literary Arts Reading Series 2011 of the Waterloo Library and Historical Society This Wednesday , July 20 th , Michael Czarnecki of Kanonah , NY , a popular regional storyteller, poet , photographer , and oral memoirist, will present “ U.S. Rte 20: a Journey Along America ’s Longest Highway .” This program is a multi-media chronicle of several of Michael’s journeys over this historic cross-country route from New England to Oregon , including a trip he undertook earlier this summer. This event will be held at 7 pm in Fatzinger Hall above the Waterloo Library and Historical Society, 31 E. Williams St , Waterloo . It is free and open to the public. Refreshments and a discussion with the presenter will follow. This series, also featuring poets and the staged reading of plays, is funded by the DEC (De-Centralization) Arts Grants through NYSCA; it is produced by Joshua Mull and Patricia Roth Schwartz, both from Wate
