Summer Arts Event in Waterloo, NY

This event is part of The Literary Arts Reading Series 2011 of the Waterloo Library and Historical Society

This Wednesday, July 20^th, Michael Czarnecki of Kanonah, NY, a popular regional storyteller, poet, photographer, and oral memoirist, will present “U.S. Rte 20: a Journey Along America’s Longest Highway.” This program is a multi-media chronicle of several of Michael’s journeys over this historic cross-country route from New England to Oregon, including a trip he undertook earlier this summer.

This event will be held at 7 pm in Fatzinger Hall above the Waterloo Library and Historical Society, 31 E. Williams St, Waterloo. It is free and open to the public. Refreshments and a discussion with the presenter will follow.

This series, also featuring poets and the staged reading of plays, is funded by the DEC (De-Centralization) Arts Grants through NYSCA; it is produced by Joshua Mull and Patricia Roth Schwartz, both from Waterloo. Additional events in the series will take place Sept-Dec. 2011.
