aaduna and HCCC, a Celebration of the Written Word!

During the spring semester last year, aaduna enjoyed a very successful visit to Hudson County Community College in Jersey City, NJ

The College invited aaduna back for the College's fall 2012 semester, and then disaster hit. Hurricane Sandy affected the campus and prompted its closure for a few days since Jersey City had to deal with lost electrical power and other issues. With perseverance and focused attention, that community dealt with the storm's impact, and rebounded!

aaduna is pleased to return to HCCC on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 !!!

We will present four contributing aaduna poets/writers who will read a selection of their work at 3 PM on March 20.

 The contributors are:

Cyd Charisse Fulton

 Olivia Magdelene, D.D.

Tara Thierry

Geoffrey D. Holman

We will also host an open mic for students and other members of the HCCC community. A Q&A will follow the readings, which is a routine aaduna segment for any public presentation and our way of building community and empowering the audience’s artistic understanding and creative self-confidence.

This event is made possible through the efforts of the ADJ Division of    Academic Development and Support Services  -  Writing Center of Hudson County Community College, and aaduna, Inc. with the support of the Sovereign Foundation.
