aaduna announces its 2013 Pushcart Prize Nominees

The Background:

"The Pushcart Prize: Best of the Small Presses series, published every year since 1976 is the most honored literary project in America.  The prize was named among the most influential projects in the history of American publishing by Publishers Weekly.

Since 1976, hundreds of presses and thousands of writers of short stories, poetry and essays have been represented in the annual collections. The Pushcart Prize has been a labor of love and independent spirits since its founding. It is one of the last surviving literary co-ops from the 60's and 70's.

At the author's request we seriously took under consideration the possibility of removing the contributor's image. We are sensitive to and understand that once  a publication is in the public domain, any subsequent changes (deletions or additions) alter the original intention of the publication.  However, there are times when we ultimately rest on our Mission's intentions and company ethics.  Please note the photo that was originally part of the issue's publication has been removed on January 9, 2018.  We trust that this action does not impugn the vibrancy of the writing.
