aaduna resumes participation in local literary series

Recognizing the safety precautions to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, ‘word revisited...the final season?’ will now kick-off its 2020-21 season with the Flock of Free-Range Children and their creative family on Monday, June 22 at 6 PM.

This performance will initiate a new format and monthly schedule at the Carriage House Theater, located behind the Cayuga Museum at 203 Genesee Street, Auburn.

And whether or not 2020-21 will in fact be the final season that decision will be influenced by audience response to the series and its importance to you. So, come out and support "words" in all its interesting iterations.

We talk...we listen...we express ourselves through words.
Featured artist, Ron Van Nostrand with his band, The Flock of Free Range Children, performed at The Carriage House Theater on March 23, 2017 at The Cayuga Museum, as part of the "Word, Revisited" literary program.

This season, ‘word revisited’ will transition to an entirely different format than previous seasons. This literary “salon” will still feature creative writers of poems, songs and short stories, but will also offer more interactive events and contests.

Subsequent programs will take place during the 2020 season on Friday, July 31; Monday, September 21st; Tuesday, November 3rd; and Monday, December 21st.  Doors will open at 5:30 PM, and the program begins at 6.

This community event is open to the public and continues to be sponsored by the on-line literary and visual arts journal aaduna, the Cayuga Museum of History and Art and the literary zine and publishing company Olive Trees

All proceeds, including a $3 per person admission and the sale of soft drinks, wine, beer and snacks, will go directly to support the Museum's programmatic activities and services to the larger community.
